We have an incredible opportunity for you!

 

Students on Ice is proud to offer several fully funded scholarships for our upcoming Arctic Youth Expedition from August 4-20, 2010.

This expedition represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for youth to expand their knowledge about the circumpolar world, and to gain a global perspective of the Arctic, its wonders, and its present and future challenges.

Students on Ice Arctic Scholarships
– for Canadian Students

 

1) In partnership with Youth Science Canada, Students on Ice is proud to offer fully-funded scholarships for Canadian youth to participate on the upcoming Arctic Youth Expedition 2010.

These scholarships are available for students currently enrolled in grades 8-11 (2e à 5e sécondaire), from coast to coast to coast. 

 

Application Deadline: Monday, June 7, 2010

2) In partnership with Canada's International Polar Year Federal Programs Office, Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami, and First Air, Students on Ice is proud to offer fully-funded scholarships for Canadian youth to participate on the upcoming Arctic Youth Expedition 2010.

These scholarships are available for high school students between the ages of 14-18, from coast to coast to coast.

Brita FilterForGood 2010 Eco-Challenge
– for Canadian Students

 

Brita is thrilled to announce the return of its Eco-Challenge Student Grant Program. Last summer, Brita sent three of Canada’s most promising young environmentalists on a life-changing educational expedition to the Arctic. Now, they are looking to send three more deserving students to the Arctic this summer through this incredible program.

Contest is open to any student who will be attending high school in his or her province or territory of residence as of September, 2010 and who will be no older than 19 years of age as of August 4, 2010. 

 

Application Deadline: Monday, May 31, 2010 - 5:00pm (Eastern Standard Time)

Royal Norwegian Embassy Arctic Scholarships
– for Norwegian Students

In partnership with the Royal Norwegian Embassy and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Students on Ice is proudly offering two scholarships for Norwegian youth to participate on the upcoming Arctic Youth Expedition 2010.

These scholarships are available for high school students between the ages of 14-18.
